Ingredients:
• Wholemeal macaroni 500 g• Chunky tomato sauce:-
• Olive oil 2 tbsp
• Onion, chopped 1
• Garlic 1 cloves
• Canned Italian- style 2 * 440 g
• Tomatoes, undrained and mashed ¼ cup
• Chopped basil 1 tbsp
• Black pepper
Method:
Step 1
Cook macaroni in boiling water in a large sauce pans following packets direction, Drain set aside keep warm.
Step 2
To make sauce, heat oil in a large frying pan and cook onion for 3 minutes or until soft, stri in garlic, tomatoes and olive oil and cook, stirring constantly, over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until sauce reduces and thickens.Add sauce to hot macaroni and toss to combine. Serve
